The Boys & Girls Club of Southeast Kansas is excited to announce the launch of our new Tutorial & Academic Enrichment Program, designed to provide students with additional academic support and enrichment opportunities.

Following the loss of our 21st Century Community Learning Centers grant, the Boys & Girls Club of Southeast Kansas is committed to finding new ways to continue providing the educational services and support our young people need to succeed.

Academic Support From Certified Educational Staff

Through this new program, students from USD 445 and surrounding communities will have the opportunity to receive academic instruction, tutoring, and enrichment from certified educational staff at the Boys & Girls Club of Southeast Kansas.

Students may receive support in areas including:

• Homework assistance
• Tutoring and academic instruction
• Academic enrichment activities
• Foundational skill development
• Individualized academic support
• Building confidence and becoming successful learners

Our goal is to provide students with a supportive environment where they can strengthen their academic skills, receive encouragement, and develop the confidence they need to succeed in the classroom and beyond.

Club Membership Is Not Required

Your child does NOT have to be an Active Member of the Boys & Girls Club to participate in this program.

We want this opportunity to be available to students who could benefit from additional academic support, regardless of whether they participate in other Boys & Girls Club programs or activities.

The program is open to students from USD 445 and surrounding communities.

Affordable Academic Support for Families

Cost: $45 per student, per semester

For $45 per semester, students can participate in academic tutoring and enrichment provided by certified educational staff.

Investing in Our Young People

The loss of the 21st Century Community Learning Centers grant created a challenge for our organization and our community. Rather than allowing that challenge to limit opportunities for our youth, the Boys & Girls Club of Southeast Kansas is committed to developing new ways to serve students and families.

Our education mentors and Club staff are excited to launch this program and continue investing in the success of our young people.

We believe every child deserves access to academic support, positive encouragement, and caring adults who believe in their potential.
