This month was packed full of fun from Hispanic Heritage Month to cupcake decorating ghosts and monsters. To celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month we invited two guest speakers to come talk with each grade level. The kids learned about different countries in South America and got to try a couple different treats. Guest speaker Esmeralda Rigdon said, “It all starts with knowledge and learning different cultures!”
Each month Caney will send a different grade level skating with Coffeyville. 3rd graders were invited to join this month. We may not be as experienced as the Coffeyville Club kids but we always have a great time!
We celebrated Halloween early by decorating cupcakes as ghosts and monsters. Each group had the opportunity to decorate two cupcakes to take home. We hope to add more activities like this in the future.
